Michael Marcon
Founder and CEO, Symphony Risk
Michael Marcon is the founder and CEO of Symphony Risk Solutions.
He is the former founder, chairman, and CEO of Equity Risk Partners. Founded in 2001 out of personal savings, Equity Risk was built through organic growth into the recognized branded alternative to large, national brokerages for advisory services to private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Equity Risk was sold to Hub International in 2016, and Michael departed Hub in 2018.
Prior to Equity Risk, Mr. Marcon was Executive Vice President at Aon, the world’s 2nd largest insurance broker. Based in Aon’s San Francisco office, Mr. Marcon had a global leadership role and was one of the architects of Aon’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group.
Michael Marcon has a BA in Economics from Ursinus College and an MBA in Finance from Drexel University.
