Craig Simon
President, Symphony Energy
Mr. Simon leads Symphony Energy, a specialty business focused exclusively on the risk management needs of the energy industry. With 25 years of exclusive focus on – and solution-building for – the energy sector, Mr. Simon is a respected subject matter expert, often quoted in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Business Insurance. He is responsible for all aspects of brokering, servicing, and program administration for Symphony’s energy and power clients. Mr. Simon designs and implements non-traditional and alternative risk management programs, with a focus on the United States’ transition to renewable energy.
Before joining Symphony, Mr. Simon served as Team Leader for US Energy & Power at Marsh. Prior, he held the role of Senior Managing Director at Crystal & Company (now Alliant) for over 15 years, overseeing liability insurance placement and brokering operations. Preceding Crystal & Company, Mr. Simon led US liability insurance brokering as the National Casualty Practice Leader for Willis North America (now Willis Towers Watson).
Mr. Simon graduated from Hofstra University with an MBA in Finance and a BA in Economics.
