Founder and CEO
Michael Marcon is the founder and CEO of Symphony Risk Solutions.
He is the former founder, chairman, and CEO of Equity Risk Partners. Founded in 2001 out of personal savings, Equity Risk was built through organic growth into the recognized branded alternative to large, national, brokerages for advisory services to private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Equity Risk was sold to Hub International in 2016 and Michael departed Hub in 2018.
Prior to Equity Risk, Mr. Marcon was Executive Vice President at Aon, the world’s 2nd largest insurance broker. Based in Aon’s San Francisco office, Mr. Marcon had a global leadership role and was one of the architects of Aon’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group.
Michael Marcon has a BA in Economics from Ursinus College and an MBA in Finance from Drexel University.
Robert Goss is the CFO of Symphony Risk Solutions.
He is the former Executive Vice President / Head of Sales and Operations for Darien, IL based Life Quotes, a direct to consumer life insurance agency.
Previously, Robert was Executive Vice President / CFO of WNC Insurance Services, a Managing General Underwriter focused on “forced placement” insurance products. Rob led the initial platform search, operations, M&A, and the successful exit generating a 300+% ROI to investors.
Prior to WNC, Mr. Goss was CFO of Aon Risk Services – Americas, the $1.3 billion retail brokerage subsidiary of Aon Corp.
Robert Goss has a BS in Accounting/Management and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
