Michael leads Symphony Senior Care, working with skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living operators to create bespoke risk management programs aligned with an operator’s specific loss history and growth trajectory, rather than standard renewal management.
Michael has thirteen years of specialized experience in senior living and healthcare risk. Prior to joining Symphony Risk, he led the West Coast senior living and healthcare vertical for Gallagher (Assured Partners). Before entering insurance, Mike spent ten years in commercial banking, a background that shapes how he reads an operator’s risk profile and structures alternative financing options alongside traditional placements.
Michael has a B.A. in economics and law and public policy from Gonzaga University and an M.B.A. from Seattle University.
