Josh Richman
President, Symphony Search
Mr. Richman is the President of Symphony Search, the specialty business of Symphony Risk focused on the risk management, transactional risk and human capital needs of search fund, entrepreneurial investment, SMB acquisition, and operator-centric private equity communities.
Mr. Richman has exclusively managed all types of M&A/private transactions over his 15-year career in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Symphony, he was Senior Vice President of Equity Risk Partners, the leading M&A insurance advisory firm. Equity Risk merged with HUB in 2016, where he was part of HUB’s Financial Sponsors team. In addition to his work in private equity, Mr. Richman is credited with creating the category and is the recognized market leader in insurance services for ETA’s, Search Funds and Independent Sponsors.
Mr. Richman has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Supply Chain Management from Barret Honors College at Arizona State University.
