Bertil Olsson
Senior Advisor and Chairman, Symphony Energy
Bertil supports the growth and development of Symphony Energy, focusing on business unit strategy, M&A, and human capital development. Working closely with Tyler Wooldridge, President of Symphony Energy, Bertil helps source and execute proprietary revenue opportunities, acquisitions, and the recruitment of specialist teams and individuals.
Bertil brings over 30 years of insurance experience, with deep expertise in energy-related risks across oil & gas, power (including renewables), petrochemical, and chemical sectors. Prior to joining Symphony Risk, he served as President and CEO of the Everen Group in Bermuda from 2015 until his retirement in 2025. Before Everen, Bertil held senior leadership roles at Marsh and Willis in Houston, including Regional Executive for Marsh South Central and Head of Marsh’s U.S. Energy business.
He resides in Austin and holds degrees from The Royal Swedish Naval Academy and the University of Lund, Sweden.
